Introduction

We collect and use your personal information for various purposes, depending on whether it is contact information for our customers, suppliers, sending newsletters, or whether you contact us in other respects.

Customer stories

When establishing a customer relationship with us, we would like your feedback on what you think of the product. If you wish to give us your feedback, it will be published on our website with your consent. Your name will appear here if this is provided.

Your orders

When you place an order with us, an ongoing customer relationship is established. Our system stores information about your name, address, telephone number, email address and date of birth. Information about products purchased from us is also recorded here.

The personal data that is registered is mainly information we need to deliver the goods to you, as well as contact you about matters related to the purchase. The processing of the personal data is based on an agreement with you.

For security reasons, we also store the IP address used to register the order. We do this to prevent fraud.

We are also required to retain personal data provided in connection with orders to fulfill our obligations under accounting legislation, tax management and any warranty/return handling. This means that this history is not deleted until at least five years have passed.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR MARKETING PURPOSES

Receiving newsletters

We offer existing and potential customers the opportunity to receive newsletters, information about our business, product recommendations, competitions or receive other offers via email and text message.

Receiving this is voluntary, and you can unsubscribe from our newsletter. It is also easy to unsubscribe from the email list by clicking "unsubscribe from newsletter" at the bottom of the email you receive or by contacting us by email.

For existing customer relationships, information about our products is sent pursuant to Section 15 of the Marketing Act. We also send newsletters after termination of the customer relationship or to others who wish to receive newsletters, but only after consent from you.

Our website uses cookies to analyze where traffic comes from, what is clicked on, compile statistics, and more in order to offer better websites and market our products.

Social media

Lightere Hjem is an active user of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat. We would like to point out that if you visit us via such media, the privacy policy of this website applies.

On social media we will post news, great offers and competitions. If you participate in a competition via social media, personal information about you may be registered in our system. We base such registration on your consent.

We also use social media for direct marketing, in that advertisements about our products may appear on your social media profile.

Disclosure of personal information to others
Personal data will only be passed on to others if permitted by law or if stated in this privacy policy. This is especially in connection with delivering an order, for accounting purposes, marketing or if you have given your prior permission. In connection with a delivery, for example, the service providers we use (carriers, logistics companies, banks) will have access to the information they need to process the order. The service providers are only allowed to use the information to perform their defined tasks.

Our company uses external service providers (data processors) who may process personal data on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into written data processing agreements to ensure information security at all stages of the processing. If you would like information about our data processors, you can contact us by email.

Storage and security of personal data
We store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was collected. This means, for example, that personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent.

Personal data we process to fulfill an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement has been fulfilled and all obligations arising from the contractual relationship or law have been fulfilled.

We take security seriously and conduct regular checks to ensure that your personal information is being properly protected.

Your rights when we process personal data about you
You have the right to access the personal information we have registered about you, and can at any time demand rectification, correction or deletion of the information we process.

Questions about our processing of personal data about you, correction, deletion or other matters can be directed to letterehjem1@gmail.com . We will ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information before we allow you to exercise your rights against us. We do this to ensure that we only give access to your personal information to you – and not to someone pretending to be you.
